As an Art teacher, I aim to;-
Provide a friendly, safe, positive and inclusive environment in which to explore one's creative potential
Encourage critical and lateral thinking
Combine art historical and contemporary contexts alongside the practical elements
Inspire a sense of visual curiosity and facilitate self-directed learning
Engender a sense of artistic community, wellbeing and foster the therapeutic potential within art practice
Give practical direction and constructive feedback
Focus on developing technical skills, confidence building, personal artistic growth and creative self expression
